Ingredients
:


500g boneless chicken, cut into small pieces

1 tbsp ginger paste

1 tbsp garlic paste

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/4 cup cornflour

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1 egg

Oil for frying

2 tbsp oil

1 onion, finely chopped

1 green bell pepper, finely chopped

1 red bell pepper, finely chopped

3-4 green chilies, finely chopped

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp chili sauce

1 tbsp ketchup

1/2 tsp vinegar

1/2 cup chicken stock

Salt to taste

Spring onions, chopped for garnishing

Instructions:


In a bowl, mix the chicken pieces with ginger paste, garlic paste, salt, and black pepper. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.

In a separate bowl, mix the cornflour, all-purpose flour, and egg to make a batter.

Heat oil in a pan for frying. Dip each chicken piece in the batter and fry until golden brown. Remove and keep aside.

In another pan, heat 2 tbsp of oil. Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.

Add chopped green and red bell peppers, and green chilies. Sauté for a minute or two.

Add soy sauce, chili sauce, ketchup, vinegar, and chicken stock. Mix well and let it simmer for a minute.

Add salt to taste and stir well.

Add the fried chicken pieces to the sauce and toss well until all the chicken pieces are coated with the sauce.

Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot with steamed rice.
